Music in the Gallery was initiated on 1992 by Awie Kempen, Mayor of Bellville at the time, Iris Roux and Burgert Naudé, a previous curator of the Gallery. The aim of the concerts is to promote all fields of music and musicians and while maintaining a high standard, to make this art form more accessible to the entire community.
