Submission procedure

Prospective exhibitors in the Arts Association of Bellville Gallery

CONDITIONS

• A portfolio must be submitted to the Arts Association Committee for approval. If at all possible it could consist of at least 5 of the original artworks or, alternatively 10 photographs or slides.
  The following artists are exempt:
  Invited artists
  Prizewinners of recognized national art competitions.
• No exhibition dates will be discussed until approval has been received from the committee.
• Exhibition dates will only be confirmed once the Arts Association has received the signed contract.
• Conditions as stated on the contract are binding and will not be altered or deviated from.
• A Commission between 20% and 30% is levied on all sales. Other costs for the artist’s account are the printing of invitations, postage and refreshments at the opening.
