Kleynhans has received the Dreams award, the Plascon painting prize, the SA Breweries sculpture award and has been a finalist in the Volskas Atelier Awards, The Momentum Life Awards and the APSA Ceramic Awards.
His work is represented in numerous private and public collections both locally and overseas.
