Members 2025

The Annual Members Exhibition is a much-anticipated highlight of our exhibition calendar at Art.b. While our yearly programme is largely shaped by proposals received through an Open Call, this exhibition serves a different but equally important purpose. It offers a platform for both emerging and established artists, providing space for creative freedom, experimentation, and community engagement.  

In an art world where commercial viability often dictates exhibition opportunities, the Members Exhibition remains an inclusive and open-ended space. Here, artists can test new ideas, explore different techniques, and engage with an audience without the pressures of a sales-driven environment.  

Visitors to this exhibition can expect a dynamic mix of work—from fresh perspectives by first-time exhibitors to innovative explorations by experienced artists pushing their practice in new directions. It is also an opportunity to reconnect with familiar names from our community, whose evolving work continues to inspire and surprise.  

The team at Art.b, along with the Arts Association of Bellville committee, remains dedicated to our core mission: to provide a platform for artists at all stages of their careers to share their work, grow their practice, and contribute to the vibrant cultural fabric of our community.
