Art.b is pleased to invite you to the opening and prize giving event for Vuleka 2022:

This year marks our second year running Vuleka as an online competition.

This also marks the second consecutive year where adjudication was done in such a way that not even the three judges were aware of each other’s identities till the last phase of adjudication. We are extremely excited about how the adjudication process worked, assuring an absolutely fair and impartial process.

We would like to extend our gratitude to Gavin du Plessis, Elizabeth Miller Vermeulen and Garth Erasmus for bringing their individual expertise to the process.

The prize winners were announced on Saturday 6 August 2021, at 11h00 at Art.b gallery.

2nd prize: Antoinette McMaster

3rd prize: Johan Els
